Q&A
Q: If I use it with a 5V1A wall charger, could this cable be used for fast charging?
A: No, you couldn’t use it for fast charging, you need to match an 18W fast charger for the quick charging feature. And furthermore, this charger has USB A socket, it doesn’t fit in this cable’s USB C socket. And if you use with power bank, the power bank also needs to have a Type C socket.
Q: I used the original XS Max charger + cable, for 100% fully charge from zero will take 3.5 hours, if I use this cable, how long time will take?
A: Around 80 minutes.
Q: How’s cable quality, will it break easily as the original one?
A: This cable is more durable since it uses Nylon Braided outer jacket and strengthened stress relief (SR) to protect joints.
Q: Could I use a higher watt charger like 30w, or even 65w to charge my cell phone?
A: Yes, the charger will automatically change the output to 18W, so it doesn’t matter to use a big volume.
